New Mexico 10/14
Another fun adventure with photography to keep the memories of this escapade alive.
We left Austin on a Thursday at about 10:30am headed for Queens, NM. We reached our destination at about 5 pm on some property that family own in a National Forest. They have a small Yurt for us to sleep in over night but there was no electricity and the mosquitoes and spiders were a force to reckoned with.
We made our campfire, got our shmores and listened to the coyotes wail in the distant mountain terrain. It was a little scary but I had 3 ladies with me that don't take no shit so I was ok. lol!
The following morning we set out to Albuquerque, NM to spend a few days at the 42nd Annual Balloon festival. The weather messed it up for us on two of the days but we got lucky Saturday morning. The Balloons were both glorious and stunning. I plan to go back next year I loved it so much.
In closing I will just say, I recommend this festival for those of you who enjoy amazement.
Peace & Love,
Wesley B.
